On March 17, a poomsae seminar of Hwang In-sik (Taekwondo 9th Dan), the executive director of Kukkiwon and the Judge Chairperson of the World Taekwondo Federation, was held successfully in the USTC Willbram(Headquarter).
The event, which was held with the efforts of USTEF Chairman Kim Kyungwon and the director Joo Sang-hun, was attended by 10 Taekwondo centers from New England, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, Mr. Hwang taught a poomsae correction and was received many praise from various poomsae training.
The ceremony was followed by a salute on the national flag, a welcoming address, a guest lecture, and a certificate of citation. Afterwards, various poomsae drills were held for three hours led by Hwang In-sik.
Even after the ceremony, the teachers and students made a strange scene to form a long line for taking a picture with director Hwang In-shik.
Hwang In-shik, a well-known director in the world of taekwondo, has raised the morale of students and teachers by directing them, and there are many opinions that these events should be continued in the future.
After the ceremony was over, Chairman Kim Kyungwon, Director Sang Heon Ju, and director Hwang In-sik agreed on the development of regular events twice a year in the first and second half of the year, The directors of each of the Taekwondo centers are agreed to actively cooperate.
Meanwhile, Kim Kyungwon has promised that the US Taekwondo Education Foundation will hold various educational events to raise the status of the foundation and to continuously develop and disseminate programs that will be practically useful for each Taekwondo center.
