Taekwondo education program completion ceremony in Haiti

At the end of July, Kim Kyung-won, the Chairman of the US Taekwondo Education Foundation visited SAE-A S & H School in Caracol, Haiti to discuss Taekwondo education in Haiti and Taekwondo Program was conducted to all S & H School students for three months from September.

The Chairman said It is meaningful that Haitian teenagers have created an educational foundation to achieve a balanced development of mind and body by providing American Public School Taekwondo Education Program, which has already been evaluated as excellent educational effect.

 

For the three-month curriculum, the best educators were able to get the best education by the masters including Ju-Sang Hyun, Choi Jin-ha, Choi Ji-jung, Yun Jong-cheol, Kim Jung-hoon and Choi Wan-wook.

Each instructor taught Taekwondo to all students while staying for two weeks in a short time. Through these activities Taekwondo was set aside as a martial arts and sports field and developed into a new area of ​​education in Haiti.

 

At the completion ceremony of the Taekwondo Education Program held at Haiti S & H School on December 2, Kim Kyung-won presented a certificate and yellow belt to each of 450 students and encouraged students who successfully completed three months of hard work. “60 years ago, Korea was a very poor country. But now it has grown to become the world’s 10th largest economy, all started with education. “He emphasized the importance of youth education and said,” Beginning is weak, but through Taekwondo education, I am confident that these students will be a bright future for Haiti. For the reconstruction of Haiti, young people should not stop or give up, and it is our responsibility and duty to provide good education to all students and schools. In particular, you are a good people. Let’s try to get a lot of talent from various fields. Taekwondo education will never stop so that all young people in Haiti can have dreams and hopes, and wherever Taekwondo education is needed, we will be together. ”

 

Meanwhile, S & H School was established to provide high quality educational opportunities to children in Caracol area in Seah Commerce. By supporting this Haitian Taekwondo education in full, Taekwondo is making efforts to raise the status of Korean companies as well.
